Dry beam scope of application: all types of construction works, shipbuilding, automotive industry, lumber production, cabinet making, containers, and packaging.
We offer dry beam made by oven-drying only. Such a beam is heat-treated in a special drying chamber. Heat treatment allows to remove excess moisture from wood and destroy insects and microbes that cause decay over the set period. Due to its strength, larch dry beam is highly resistant to deformation and mechanical stress.
Dry beam size (thickness * width): to be discussed on case-by-case basis.
Dry beam length: 2.0 m to 6.0 m.
Material: Larch.
Grade according to GOST 8486-86: 1 to 4.
- Grade 1
Grade 1 may have small cracks and live knots, but with no traces of decay on the surface. - Grade 2
Grade 2 may have traces of mold, not more than 20%, resin pockets, and many cracks and knots. - Grade 3
Grade 3 has more resin pockets and visual material defects. - Grade 4
Grade 4 has the lowest quality, it is rough, with a large number of flaws in the form of spots, mold.
Moisture content: 16% ± 2%
