WHY LARCH?

Larch is a type of soft-wood. Larch has unique valuable wood properties that are not comparable with any other type of wood. Larch applications are numerous: small shipbuilding, hydraulic engineering, cabinet making, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, but larch has found the widest distribution in construction and lumber production.

Larch features

Larch belongs to valuable wood species. Larch products are distinguished by unique strength, durability, and extraordinary color beauty represented by a wide palette of tones and patterns
Very high density of wood, annual rings are located along the trunk with small intervals. That particular feature ensures strength and reliability of this unique wood material
All larch products are resistant to any mechanical damage and deformation. In terms of strength properties, larch is on the same line with oak widely known for its strength

Larch contains gum. That particular natural antiseptic protects the material from decay and fungal damage. Larch products are particularly resistant to moisture.
Larch has high compressive strength and withstands impressive loads during operation, therefore, construction regulations recommend using it in the manufacture of products designed for high weight and compression loads.
The ability of larch to give and absorb moisture when the weather changes makes it an indispensable material for use in the regions with sharp drops in temperature and humidity.

A well-known interesting fact

Venice, Amsterdam, St. Petersburg are built on piles of larch, which are from 200 years old. Upon closer examination, experts noticed that the tree was petrified and it was almost impossible to damage it. That is why this wood has long been used for the construction of ships and boats, any products that often come into contact with water.
Especially valuable Siberian breeds, as they grow in a harsh, cruel climate and are naturally more durable and durable. For example, a deck board made of larch is made only from materials from Siberia. The rocks of the Middle band have a looser structure, which is very convenient for the production of furniture and lumber.
Since trees that are 100 or 150 years old are used for production and larch is a valuable wood species, materials from them cannot be cheap. If they offer any product at a low price, positioning it as a larch, you should not believe. Beware of scammers, trust trusted suppliers.
